Fine craftsmanship and elegance, harmonised with the pleasant tones of a genuine bell, these are the essential qualities of these re-creations of the traditional house bell of late Georgian/early Victorian style. Original wire-and-pulley operation has given way to either battery or mains power which means installation is extremely simple.

All models are supplied with 10 metres of 2 core bell wire to enable you to connect to your exisiting bell push. Both these travellers alarm clocks are made in Amboyna burr veneer. Quartz battery alarm movements.

Amboyna burr is a wood that was highly prized by French cabinet makers during the 19th century, more recently it could be found adorning the dashboards of many exclusive limousines. Its name is derived from the fact that the timber was originally shipped from an island in the Molucccas called Amboyna.

We sell twenty one Mantel clocks - crafted in mahogany, cherry and oak cases.

The smaller clocks have a quartz battery movement whilst the larger ones have an eight day springwound movement. Some of the larger ones also feature 4/4 Westminster chiming.

We offer sixteen different types of Bracket clocks in a variety of finishes.

English Bracket clocks, which appeared around 1660, were spring driven pendulum clocks first commonly kept on a small wall bracket and later on a shelf. The earliest bracket clocks were often architectural in design with pillars at the sides and a pediment on top. In later designs the pillars were omitted and the pediment was replaced with a domed top and a carrying handle was added.
