 | Knight & Gibbins Bracket Clocks We offer sixteen different types of Bracket clocks in a variety of finishes. English Bracket clocks, which appeared around 1660, were spring driven pendulum clocks first commonly kept on a small wall bracket and later on a shelf. The earliest bracket clocks were often architectural in design with pillars at the sides and a pediment on top. In later designs the pillars were omitted and the pediment was replaced with a domed top and a carrying handle was added. Each Bracket clock has a full description beside the photograph. | |
